I was reporting the event, co-anchor of morning news at WKBO in Harrisburg and part of the team that broke the story to the world. Mike Pintek, my boss at the time, broke the story when he was accidentally patched into the control room.

I don’t know who everyone is in the TMI shot, but the guy in plaid pants was Sandy Pollan, a spokesman for Met-ed who was brought in after the accident. Behind him is Mike Pintek and that’s me in front. Not sure who the other two are. That was taken when they started giving reporters tours when the clean-up started.
