My parents lived 2 miles from and it dominated the landscape out of their windows. Dad refused to evacuate. They said news reporter from all around the country were all over Middletown. You couldn’t step outside your door or one was in your face.
My husband and I went to his parents out in Fulton County such to get away from all of bedlam!
