In 1979 my wife and 2 daughters lived in Chambers Hill area and could see the cooling stacks from our house. My wife and 2 daughters oldest 10 youngest 6.
My wife and children were home when accident took place. I was at work in Harrisburg.
I still believe the accident at TMI caused serious health problems
My wife and children developed thyroid problems. My wife had 85 % removed my oldest daughter developed stage 4 cancer of the thyroid and had to have it removed along with 16 lymph nodes. Very grueling surgery with radiation therapy. My youngest daughter had some complications but nothing serious.

I pray it will not happen again.
